What is granted

One state

  1. VELARIONAI LLC grants the licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the licensed data inside the licensee’s own organization for the term below.
  2. The licensed data covers the state named above: its covered entities, their registered sites, their contract-pharmacy arrangements, the daily record of what changed, and the Medicare cost report figures of the hospitals in that state that file one.
  3. The licensee may not redistribute the licensed data, publish it as a dataset, or make it available to any third party as data. Analysis and findings drawn from it may be published, with attribution to Velarion Records.

The whole register, internal use

  1. VELARIONAI LLC grants the licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the licensed data inside the licensee’s own organization for the term below.
  2. The licensed data covers the whole register: every covered entity, every registered site, every contract-pharmacy arrangement, the daily record of what changed, and the Medicare cost report figures of every hospital that files one.
  3. The licensee may not redistribute the licensed data, publish it as a dataset, or make it available to any third party as data. Analysis and findings drawn from it may be published, with attribution to Velarion Records.

Enterprise, with redistribution

  1. VELARIONAI LLC grants the licensee a non-exclusive right to use the licensed data inside the licensee’s own organization AND to redistribute it, in whole or in part, as a component of a product or publication the licensee offers, for the term below.
  2. The licensed data covers the whole register: every covered entity, every registered site, every contract-pharmacy arrangement, the daily record of what changed, and the Medicare cost report figures of every hospital that files one.
  3. Redistribution carries two conditions. The licensee attributes Velarion Records as the source wherever the data is shown, and the licensee does not offer the licensed data as a standalone dataset that substitutes for this license.
  4. The right to redistribute ends with the term. Data already embedded in a published work before the term ends may remain there.

Terms

  1. Every value in the licensed data is the value its source document printed. Velarion Records does not estimate, interpolate, or carry a value in from another period, and makes no representation about the accuracy of the source documents themselves — which are public filings of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
  2. The bundle is refreshed each day the publisher issues a new report. The licensee’s API key reaches the current data for the whole term.
  3. Either party may end this license in writing. Fees already paid for the current term are not refunded, except within seven days of purchase, which is refunded in full on request.

The license issued at purchase names the licensee, the scope, the term, the fee and the license number, and carries these terms.
