Questions

What does the report contain?
It carries one port's twelve published months. For each month the register shows declared trade value, the vessel share and container share, air share, shipping weight, partner countries and commodity chapters, with the filing each figure came from. The buyer chooses one port only.
What is the source of the figures?
Every figure comes from the United States Census Bureau's Port Commodity Record as it stands on the day the report is bought. The report prints the filing each figure came from, so the reader can trace the record to its published source.
Can I file or cite it?
Yes. The report is a dated document built for filing, citation and board, lender, regulator or court use. It carries the register's published figures and the filing behind each figure, so the reader can see where the record came from.
Which port do I get?
You choose one port. The report then carries every month the register publishes for that port, each with value, vessel and container shares, air share, weight, partner countries and commodity chapters. Nothing else is added.

How the figures are built

Every figure is the one its source document printed, shown with the file it came from. The three shares that are divided and the positions that are ranked are named on one page. Nothing is estimated. How each figure is defined.
